27MATERIAL AND CONSTRUCTIONKIRAFC - 500 Fiberglass braided Cord are intended for high-temperature applications up to 550⁰C. ThisCord consists of fiberglass yarn core with a fiberglass braided jacket to form an exact diameter for controlled compression seals. Larger diameters have a "Braid-Over-Braid" or “Yarn- Filled -Braid” jacket for durability and precise gasket dimensions.

KIRAFC - 500 are available in many sizes and manufactured to fit Customer Specifications for Roundness and Softness. These Cords are suitable for all types of sealing applications where High Temperatures upto 550⁰C are needed
